This healthy cranberry sauce recipe uses whole cranberries, fresh orange juice and the zest from the orange. Not sure what zest is? It's just the orange part of the peel (not the white part underneath). You can finely grate or mince it.
Ingredients:
2 8-ounce packages fresh or frozen cranberries 1 navel orange; use both zest and juice 1 teaspoon fennel seeds 1 teaspoon ground ginger 1 cinnamon stick Pinch crushed red pepper flakes ½ cup sugar or Splenda
